In Maths we have been working hard learning about multiplication and division. We have focused on our times tables up to 12 and how we can use these multiplication facts to work out division equations. Some of us have also been learning about prime numbers, square numbers and cube numbers.

Famous Artists

Darwin Class have been learning about famous artists. The pictures above show us making our own art in the style of Piet Mondrian. We liked how he used bright colours and straight lines to create his artwork.

King Midas and his Golden Touch

Darwin class are currently learning about Myths and Legends in English. We are writing our own version of the Greek Myth 'King Midas and his Golden Touch'.

The children enjoyed making lots of different potato based dishes in the last half term. Check out the pictures of them in action.

Charles Robert DarwinFRS FRGS FLS FZS (12 February 1809 – 19 April 1882) was an English naturalistgeologist and biologist,best known for his contributions to the science of evolution.

I hope that Ms Smith and Mr A Berchie are ready to become VERY scientific!
