We hope you had a lovely Christmas break and are ready for the fun and wonderfulness that 2018 will bring.
As you know from the letters and Dojo's sent out before Christmas, Waterside and Moatbridge have come closely linked - with Mr Griffiths taking over as Executive Head of both schools.
We have had a brilliant start to the term so far - with both Waterside and Moatbridge staff working together on one INSET day - looking at how we support our super heroes and ensuring that they meet their potential and on the second day, the Moatbridge team worked with Mr Griffiths on how they want to improve Moatbridge to become a brilliant secondary school.
It has become obvious that Mr Griffiths will be rushing back and forth between both schools for a while - which may mean it is tricky for you to see or speak to him as quickly as you have in the past...but he will be around lots.
As you know, you can speak to Mr Collard, Mrs Shotton or any of the school team - and they will make sure that Mr Griffiths knows everything! If you need to see Mr Griffiths - then please, contact Taiwo at school and book a slot in the diary.
We have an exciting term ahead - with the launch of our new reading system, 1000 top happiness educators and the happiness days too. Don't forget we have schools photo's very shortly, so please ensure your super hero is fully kitted out with their uniform.
