We have continued to celebrate British super heroes and name our classes in honour of them.
Westwood is named after Dame Vivienne Westwood - a world famous designer whose work has covered haute couture, punk, theatre and much, much more.
The Class have really enjoyed designing and making their own Canopic Jars out of clay!
The Class were using clay to make a start on their Egyptian Canopic jars!
The children have really embraced our new topic on Ancient Egypt. They have created some lovely Egyptian portraits using watercolour paints and pens. They have made Pharaoh Crowns and even mummified their own dead bodies! (Tomatoes!)

This Spring term we are learning all about Ancient Egypt and the children have really embraced this topic! So far we have studied Mummies, Pharaohs, pyrimamids and of course King Tutunkhamun!

the children had to wear something precious, or bring something precious to them! They had lots of fun in a Westwood Class in the afternoon exploring each other's 'precious' items...
