This week we have been learning to play the glockenspiel.

Lear class had a fun day using our maths and literacy skills to make pizzas, cookies and fruit kebabs. Afterwards we enjoyed eating our creations.

When Lear class returned to their classroom on Monday they found lots of rubbish thrown across the classroom. The class decided that we should recycle the rubbish rather than throw it away. Today Lear class recycled some of the rubbish and made some bird feeders.

Lear class have been learning about Shackleton in their English lessons. This week they took part in a Sea Shanty session.

This half term Lear class are completing some work around the book The Bear and the Piano and they have completed some lovely work linked to the story. Here are some examples of their work.

For our new music block we will be listening to Reggae music. This week we listened to Bob Marley's Three Little Birds. As a class we were trying to find the pulse of the music. We were clapping our hands, stamping our feet and marching around the classroom.

Lear class have had a busy few weeks. We have had a visit from Mary Potts, a character from our class book Sparky. This week we started looking at our Christmas book The Polar Express. The children received a golden ticket and exchanged it for some hot chocolate. Today we all wore our Christmas tops. We think we look amazing.

On Wednesday Lear class made some sensory poppies and completed some writing about Remembrance Day.

Lear class received a parcel this week. They were very excited to find out what was in the parcel.

We have enjoyed our drumming session this week.

Lear class had lots of fun in their PE lesson this week.

This week Lear class have been exploring feelings and emotions. Can you guess how we have been feeling today?
