Rationale

The Outreach Team are a commissioned service who work with the Local Authority to  support children who have been referred to us from their mainstream school. Outreach staff work with individuals as well as groups and classes to help children with social, emotional or and or mental health needs.

The Outreach Team also provide training to mainstream schools within the local borough.

Training offered to Greenwich schools

– Quality Circle Time

– Leafe (behaviour management and physical Intervention) training

Leafe training offers a system based on understanding and working with natural movement of the body. This promotes a non-confrontational, pro-active and preventative approach to managing challenging behaviour by using gradual and graded interventions.
