  • Elf Day!

    Sun 29 Nov 2015

On Friday December 4th, Waterside is going to receive a very special visitor ... an Elf! Our friendly Elf Shonette will be travelling via magical express to London and spending a day spreading happiness everywhere. She will be bringing gifts and fun to everyone within the Waterside family.

Mrs Ott and Mr Griffiths have a surprise for everyone and for Elf Shonette - so that she will feel at home - so keep your eyes open!

Elf Shonette and Mr Griffiths (or could that be Elf Griffiths ?!?) are determined to spread the happiness across the country if not the world - and want you to join in with us...so why not visit www.spreadthehappiness.co.uk for further information and inspiration.

  • Thank you!

    Sun 29 Nov 2015

We had a lovely harvest festival with our guest of honour - Matthew Pennycook MP. The pupils brought in some amazing gifts and we are distributing those this week to the community.

Thank you to all the parents who turned up to look at the work the children had produced and to join in the singing!

  • Circus Skills

    Wed 11 Nov 2015

The children got an amazing opportunity to learn and perform circus skills. It was wonderful to see everyone so involved in learning and mastering a new skill to perform for the rest of the school. We all thoroughly enjoyed it!

  • Poppies

    Thu 05 Nov 2015

Next week we will be collecting for the poppy appeal. If you would like your child to have a poppy and support this worthwhile and much needed charity, then please send in a minimum donation of 20p and we can issue them with a poppy. We will be observing the 2 minute silence during school time.

    Thank you for your support.
