  • Parent's Consultation Wednesday March 28th

    Wed 14 Mar 2018
    We have parents evening coming up on Wednesday the 28th. Thisis your opportunity to come and see the amazing work your superhero has done this year so far and chat to their class teacherabout the next steps.

    So that we can make this easier to schedule, we have created anelectronic way for you to book a slot.

    Click on the link for YOUR super hero's class and then chooseyour time. If a time isn't available it's because another parent/carerhas already booked it.

    It is done on a first come first served basis.

    For those parents who are in nest, we do not usually host a parentconsultation, as this should be done with your super hero's originalschool. However, Mrs Edwards will be chatting to you so that youhave opportunity to discuss next steps etc.

  • School Closed - Friday March 2nd

    Thu 01 Mar 2018

    Dear parents and super heroes,

    We are really sorry but we have to close tomorrow Friday March 2nd.

     This is due to a number of factors:

     1. Transport are unable to guarantee a pick up and drop off tomorrow due to both the weather and side roads not being treated. This is out of our control.

     2. Our meals are catered elsewhere and bused to the school. We have no control over if the kitchens are open and if they will be able to provide school lunch.

     3. We, along with other schools, have received notification that there is significant snow fall over night - which will cause major disruption.

    4. Most of the staff are currently unable to get to the school - including those using public transport due to reduced services.

    We thought that by making the decision in advance, we are giving you the opportunity to make appropriate child care choices for tomorrow.

    The weather is due to change dramatically on Saturday and we are planning to open as normal on Monday.

     Apologies for the inconvenience but we have to ensure that we are all safe.

  • Sorry - we are closed today Thursday March 1st

    Thu 01 Mar 2018
    Dear parents and super heroes,

    Unfortunately, we have no choice but to close today - Thursday March 1st.

    This is due to a number of factors:

    1. We are predicted to have significant snow fall from 7am which could lead to your super hero being stuck in traffic for a considerable period of time ;

    2. We have no method of getting school lunch delivered to school today as the catering department are closed due to the weather ;

    3. Although transport believe that they can pick up, they cannot guarantee that we would not have to send home early - which willcause even greater disruption for you.

    Apologies for the inconvenience but we have to ensure that we are all safe.

    Keep warm and hopefully we will be open tomorrow.
