Batman Day

We are having an amazing time exploring our super hero skills and how we can improve upon them.

Everyone - including the super hero teachers, have donned their capes and masks and are looking to improve their skills.

We will look at them again every month to see if we've altered them and add on some new ones!

World Dream Day

Today is World Dream Day and we are going to be tweeting and hash tagging our way through the day.

What a busy week we've had! And next week just gets busier.

On Monday we will be exploring World Dream Day...I am sure we all have some amazing dreams and hopes for our super heroes -and Monday will be the day to start sharing those.

Tuesday, it's Batman Day.

We don't need our super heroes to dress up - as it was discussed in assembly - we are already super heroes so we don't need an outfit!

We will be looking at our gifts and how we can share those with the world, as mentioned by Tyron in assembly. This idea has been adopted across the Spread The Happiness network.

We will be issuing our super heroes a new cape and mask as part of the day, so please send them into school in their uniform.

World Gratitude Day

It's World Gratitude Day today ... what are you thankful for?

Our super heroes will be exploring that idea today...we are sure that they will come up with some really interesting ideas and comments.

At Waterside...we are so thankful for the opportunity to work with our super heroes and have a team of amazing people, who work hard to help and change lives.

We had this from one of our super hero parents this morning:

"As today is world Gratitude day. I just wanna tosay I am so grateful that Luke is part of Waterside and is finally happy to go to school. And for everything you all do to make his world a little easier for him and me 😀"

Year 6 Parents - Secondary Transfer

Year 6 Parents....

You have some interesting choices to make this month regarding Secondary School Placements, and we want to help!

You have to put your preferences and send them to the Borough BEFORE September 29th.

Why not come along on Wednesday September 13th - 9.30am onwards, and we can talk through your options, your fears, your hopes etc and ensure that you have the best opportunity to get the place you want for your super hero?

I will have refreshments all ready for you :)
